Skylark Woodturning

Richard, the Norfolk artisan woodturner, creates decorative & functional pieces such as bowls, platters, tea lights, trinket bowls, brush pots & vases.

Specialising in using colour…inks & spirit stains together with gilding to design & make beautiful original pieces

Using a range of English sustainably sourced & reclaimed wood, each piece is unique. Ensuring that the natural beauty of the wood shines through is key, whether it is a natural or colour finish.

Coloured pieces are created using carefully sourced inks, stains, together with occasional use of gilding.

Shape & form are continually evolving, with no two pieces ever the same.

Inspiration comes from our beautiful county of Norfolk with our rich rural craft heritage, thriving contemporary art scene, wide open spaces, breathtaking coastline & big Norfolk skies.
